DR.CARHART RECEIVES AWARD FOR ABORTIONS at New Haven Venue
The era of giving awards to abortion providers is local and heart wrenching.
Sponsored by the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice of Connecticut from Old Greenwich CT proudly held an Awards Dinner at the New Haven Lawn Club, 193 Whitney Ave, New Haven on January 20th to honor Dr. Leroy Carhart, abortionist.
Although the New Haven Lawn Club boasts of being family friendly on its web site, it should be ashamed of renting its facilities for such an anti-family awards night.
What does such an award for an abortionist look like?  Is it in the form of an aborted child?  If so, Dr. Leroy Carhart of Nebraska, may it open your heart to life's potential.  May it cause you to desist and use your medical knowledge to promote life.
It is unconscionable to dignify the killing of innocent unborn children with an award or a dinner.  Yes, we are a free society, but denigrating the oath of a physician in order to exploit vulnerable girls and women for personal gain is unethical and un-American.
Thank God for persons belonging to Operation Save America, Choose Life at Yale, members of St. Mary Catholic Church, Norwalk, as well as persons from Waterbury, New Haven and Hartford who peacefully protested the event.  Thank God for Pastor Jim Loomer of Milford Christian Church who spoke so eloquently about the need for the miracle of Babel inside the New Haven Lawn Club so that Dr. Carhart's message becomes confused in the minds of his listeners.
The message for faithful Christians and all those on the side of life is very clear.  We need to be more vigilant about speaking up for life in all of its stages of development in the pulpit and in the market place. Our voices must register truth, be delivered respectfully but staunchly with a view of bringing people back to decency and humanitarian ideals.
